Our Philosophy
Language learned through stories, not drills.
Context, Not Repetition.
You don't memorize — you read. Vocabulary and grammar patterns emerge naturally from the narrative. Every chapter is rewritten to match your exact CEFR level.
Zero Gamification.
No streaks, no gems, no leaderboards. Just you and the text, exactly as reading should be. Progress happens through immersion, not competition.

Alice tavşan deliğinden aşağı düştü. Düşerken etrafına baktı. Duvarlarda raflar ve kitaplar vardı.
Düşüş çok uzun sürdü. “Acaba ne kadar derine gidiyorum?” diye düşündü.
deliğinden
From “delik” (hole) + ablative suffix “-inden” — meaning “from its hole.” Shows Turkish agglutination: the word carries possession and direction in a single form...

FAQ
Common questions
Lingo Tales currently supports German, English, and Turkish. Each language has stories available across CEFR levels from A2 (elementary) to B2 (upper-intermediate). More languages are on the way.
When you choose a book, our AI adapts the text to match your current reading level. The same story reads differently for an A2 learner versus a B2 learner — simpler sentence structures, adjusted vocabulary, and level-appropriate grammar patterns. As you improve, the text gradually becomes more complex.
An internet connection is needed to load new chapters and use AI features like word explanations and conversation practice. Once a chapter is loaded, you can read it offline.
Lingo Tales offers a free tier with access to select content. A premium subscription unlocks the full library, unlimited AI explanations, conversation practice, and advanced progress tracking. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe.
Most language apps teach through isolated exercises and gamification. Lingo Tales teaches through immersive reading — you learn grammar and vocabulary in the context of a real story. Research shows extensive reading is one of the most effective ways to acquire a language naturally.
Lingo Tales is currently available on iPhone. An Android version is on our roadmap. Sign up for updates on our website to be notified when it launches.
